Useful Information

Upon Arrival

Nu Car Rentals service is provided in cooperation with Coupe Car Rentals in Las Vegas. Upon arrival at McCarran Intl. Airport follow the airport signs to the Car Rental Center shuttle and board the McCarran Car Rental Shuttle bus. Once you arrive at the Car Rental Center proceed to Sign number 4 at the Taxi Pick Up waiting area where the NU/Coupe shuttle will be waiting to take you to our location just across the street from the McCarran Car Rental Center. If the shuttle is not waiting for you when you arrive, please call us at 702-462-2664 for pick up service. Our hours of operation are from 6 A.M. to Midnight. After hour drops are permitted at the location. Renter will be billed to the start of the next business day and is responsible for the rental vehicle until inspected by a company representative. Please inquire at the rental counter for further details. Note, that there is no shuttle service available outside the hours of operation. Vehicles are held during operating hours up to 2 hours after the arrival time on your reservation.

Insurance

The renter is responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle regardless of fault.

LDW - Loss Damage Waiver is $23.99 USD/day for all cars.

SLI- Supplemental Liability Insurance will provide up to one million USD protection for third party claims. It is $17.00USD per day.

PAC - Personal Accident Coverage provides up to 150 thousand USD for passengers and certain property in the vehicle for 5.19USD per day.

Glass and Tire Protection is available for 7.99USD per day.

Roadside Assistance is available for 4.99USD per day.

Special Equipment

Child safety seats are available for $10.00USD/day, with a maximum of 99.99USD per rental. Please specify the size seat needed.

GPS is 12.97USD per day up to a maximum of 99.99USD per rental.

Please request special equipment at the time of reservation.

Fuel

All cars are provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank of fuel in order to avoid a locally determined refueling charge. This charge will include the price of fuel as well as the service required to refuel the vehicle. Prepaid fuel options are available. Please inquire at the rental counter at time of rental. Credit is not issued for unused fuel.

One Way Rentals

One way drops are allowed between our NU Car Rental locations from Las Vegas to San Francisco with prior approval and a 49.99USD drop fee.

Driver Qualification

All Drivers must present a valid Driver's License as well as have a clean driving record. They must also present a major credit card in their own name at time of rental. International renters must have a valid Drivers License from their country of residence. If their license is not in the Roman alphabet they must present their passport also. For Drivers Licenses that are not part of the International Drivers License Treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented along with the original license.

Additional Drivers MUST meet the same requirements as the renter and must be on the contract at the time of rental. The additional driver fee is 12.97USD per day up to a maximum 99.99USD per rental. No additional driver for your spouse. All drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 may only rent the ECAR /CCAR/SCAR/FCAR/IFAR/SFAR/FFAR/MVAR NO Premium or Specialty car. Young drivers 21-24 years are allowed with an Underage Drivers Fee of 25.00 USD per day up to a maximum of 99.99 USD per rental otherwise drivers must be between 25-80 years of age.

Credit Card Guarantees

If you have reserved a pay on arrival rental, a credit card guarantee is required in order to reserve a vehicle. This credit card will be validated at the time of reservation and may show a 1.00USD temporary authorization on your credit card statement. However, no actual guarantee fee will be incurred unless the Customer is a No Show; in which case a No Show fee equivalent to a one day rental or a minimum of $50 00 will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee. If your plans change, you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same site on which you made your reservation at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time.

If you reserved a Prepaid (Pay Now) reservation, you will be charged a Booking Fee equivalent to the total charges of your reservation. The Credit Card used for prepayment MUST be presented at the rental counter at time of pick up. This is a non-refundable reservation and may not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or a credit.

Inclusive Rates

Should you purchase our Inclusive Rate Package, please note our rate includes the Collision Damage Waiver, Theft, taxes and Fees. CDW has a zero excess or deductible. NOT included in your rate is the Fuel, Underage Driver's Fee, Additional Driver's Fee and Special Equipment such as Baby seats and GPS; as well as the Supplemental Liability Insurance or any other available option.

Credit/Debit Card

We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card, and Discover card A security deposit will be held at the start of the rental. It will include the estimated amount of the rental plus a deposit of 200.00USD. This amount may vary depending on the vehicle type and the length of rental. These funds will no longer be available for immediate use and may take up to 30 days - depending on your bank - to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned checks or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process. Debit Cards are NOT an accepted form of payment or qualification. Cash is not accepted for qualification at the time of rental but may be used for payment upon return of the vehicle. A major Credit Card is still required to qualify to rent. Vouchers and prepaid cards are not accepted. For all prepaid rentals - the person who prepaid for the rental must be present with the same credit card in his or her own name that was used to prepay the reservation in order to pick up the rental. There will be a 200.00USD deposit for prepaid rentals.
