Young Drivers Age: 21 to 24 Years Charge 25 USD per Day Includes 1% Tax

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Drivers License

If your driver's licence is not in the Roman alphabet (i.e. if it is in Arabic, Greek, Russian or Chinese) you are required to bring an International Driving Permit and your domestic licence. For driving licences from countries not part of the international driving licence treaty, an official translation of the licence must be presented with the original licence. When renting within the EU, customers from non-EU countries must also present an International Driving Permit along with their domestic licence.

Car types

The vehicle displayed and models listed are the most common vehicles used by our car rental partners. We cannot guarantee the make or model of the rental vehicle will be the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.

Voucher

A printed version of your voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present the voucher means the car rental agent may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local agent on collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed.

Age Requirements

Rather than requiring customers to be 25 to rent, Avis at this location now rents to customers between the ages of 21-24 with a valid credit card and driver's license. An underage surcharge may apply and will automatically be applied to the reservation. Additionally, the following restrictions also will apply for renters between the ages of 21-24: Renters of luxury cars, mini-vans, 12-passenger vans, specialty cars, full-size SUVs and premium SUVs will not be permitted. Government Minimum Age Policy - Military (FEMA, US Postal Dept., Navy and Army) and Civilian Personnel Minimum age - 18 years (no underage surcharge will apply) with government travel or purchase order Minimum age - 21 years (no underage surcharge will apply) with no government travel or purchase order

AFTER-HOURS RETURNS Not Accepted Rental vehicle must be returned during office hours. NOTE: Some locations may have a key drop available. If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day. If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock the keys inside the car. The customer will be charged a fee for a locksmith to unlock the vehicle. PREFERRED SERVICE Local Office Instructions Proceed to the Avis rental counter. Show your drivers license and identify yourself as a Preferred Renter to the Avis rental agent in order to receive your preprinted rental document and keys.

Drivers License

At the time of rentals, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a drivers license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license..

Towing

Towing is not permitted. Vehicles cannot be used to tow or push anything. A trailer hitch cannot be installed on the vehicles.
